Chroma

is a high quality acrylic paint designed for internal and external applications. The premium quality base has been formulated to achieve stronger opacity, fuller colours and better paintability than conventional paints. Chroma is available in a variety of bases including: ceiling flat, flat, low sheen, satin & gloss.

Metta & Metta Grain

is a unique flat textured paint with a streak free appearance and subtle colour variation that is easy to apply. The depth and flatness of colour achieved will help to conceal variations in the painted surface and makes Metta paint ideal for facades. Metta is a durable flat base and can be over coated with our clear acrylic sealer for added serviceability. Both Chroma and Metta are low VOC’s and water based making them easy and eco-friendly to use in any environment. They are suitable for internal and external applications.

Micaceous

Fine particles of pigmented iron oxides fuse to create soft lustrous effects that are reminiscent of a juxtaposed ‘organic-industrial’ finish.

Axolotl Micaceous can be spray or brush applied in two coats to create even or directional effects. With low VOC’s, the water based collection is easy to use and suitable both internally and externally. The Micaceous range is available in a palette specifically developed to complement Axolotl metals.

Ceiling Flat Chroma

A durable weather resistant cement paint that ages and fades with exposure. With rich, moody colours and soft shades that age beautifully to a matt patina, Axolotl Cement Paint is the ultimate combination of aesthetic appeal and longevity. The paints exceptionally resilient formula was developed with protection and performance in mind, making Axolotl a wonderful way to enhance cement render, bagging, brickwork or any dimensionally stable surface. Ideal for outdoor walls it can also be used indoors whether the tone is contemporary or traditional.

Timberwash Interior

Axolotl Timber Wash capitalises on the natural grain of timber. Available in a range of on trend tones, our timber washes are of the highest quality and are formulated to last. Axolotl's Timber Wash is the perfect choice in applications where the timber needs both protection and enhanced colour. With low VOC’s, the water based collection is easy to use and designed for use on quality timbers such as Cedar, Cypress, Oregon, treated Pine, all texture Ply and hardwoods. It is available in both internal and external grade, with the option of sealing with a topcoat for internal use enabling you to create this look on high traffic areas such as furniture, bench tops and floors.

Timberwash Exterior

Axolotl Timber Wash capitalises on the natural grain of timber. Available in a range of on trend tones, our timber washes are of the highest quality and are formulated to last. Axolotl's Timber Wash is the perfect choice in applications where the timber needs both protection and enhanced colour. Primer

Axolotl Paint offers a range of Primers suitable for a range of projects. This includes speciality products for metals and for powdery surfaces to provide a key on the surface for use with other Axolotl primers and Paints.

Also available is an elastomeric waterproofing membrane that creates a highly flexible protective skin over the substrate which will expand and contract with the structure.

Metal Primer

Axolotl Metal Primer is designed for use on metals including galvanised iron, zincalume, aluminium, copper, new iron and steel and is suitable under most Axolotl Paint finishes.

Clear Primer

Axolotl Clear Primer is a water based primer designed to seal powdery or chalky surfaces such as previously water base painted external surfaces, new and old concrete, compressed fibre cement sheeting, brickwork, hebel and cement render. Axolotl Clear Primer is applied prior to other Axolotl Primers and paints as it will help provide a key on the surface. Suitable for use under Axolotl Primer and Elastomeric Membrane.

Elastomeric Membrane

Axolotl Elastomeric Membrane is a highly flexible and protective skin which will expand and contract with the structure without deterioration. Axolotl Elastomeric Membrane can be used as a primer and filler on surfaces that require waterproofing or added flexibility. Axolotl Elastomeric Membrane can be overcoated with Axolotl Metta and Chroma paints. It can also be directly tinted in a select range of colours, leaving a satin like finish. Elastomeric Membrane is supplied in a paste like consistency and is suitable for use on masonry surfaces, suitably primed timber and steel, concrete, asbestos, tiles, polystyrene, polyurethane foam and fibre cement sheeting.

Clear Acrylic Sealer

Axolotl Clear Acrylic Sealer is a non – yellowing matt clear protective sealant for use internally over most Axolotl Paint products. The low VOC acrylic formulation is designed to repel water reducing dirt pick up and improving washability. Particularly recommended for flat finishes in high traffic areas

Urethane Sealer

Axolotl Urethane Sealer is a flexible, waterbased, protective clear satin finish. It is suited to higher traffic internal applications such as balustrades, floors, counters and furniture. Axolotl Urethane Sealer has minimal yellowing and is easy to recoat. Suitable for use over Axolotl Timberwash Interior, Chroma and Micaceous paints. Urethane sealer can also be used to seal raw timbers and concrete.
